We will spring to action in March 2021 with continuing on making cards for hospitalized patients but expand more on Kindness cards for homeless people, Gratitude cards for essential workers and son, Hope cards for Cancer patients. We have been sharing regular cards for the homeless regularly since July 2020 to Circle the City. Our theme for March cards is inspired by spring and St Patrick's day !
It was about a year ago this time, that quarantine lockdown forced us to think on what we can do while being isolated and shortly after Project Smile AZ was born. We started with mask making drive then and contributed 500 masks by April 2020. This year we realized how education suffered during this last year for many kids. It is essential for kids to read and we are kick starting a Book Drive on March 2nd, National Read Across America Day on Dr Seuss' Birthday. We are looking for new-like or new books to share to kids in need anywhere. Most need is for kids 4-12 years of age but we will accept baby books, teenage books and adult books. We will find them a home!
